Alan Simpson & Co Solicitors and BTMK Solicitors (based in Southend-on-Sea, Leigh-on-Sea and also here in Rayleigh) have made the exciting decision to join forces.
We have recognised that the best way to secure and strengthen our business here in Rayleigh and to provide an even better service to our established clients (and of course our new ones) is to be able to offer an even greater breadth of legal services. We have decided to do this by merging with BTMK Solicitors.
Myself and the existing Alan Simpson & Co Solicitors team will remain here, at Mill Court, and I will continue to look after our clients' interests as I always have. After all, we know our clients and the business better than anyone. We will, as appropriate, introduce clients to our new colleagues at BTMK to ensure that together we can provide all the legal services that they are likely to need. Alan Simpson
BTMK is one of the leading law firms in the area. They have two offices in Southend-on-Sea and two further offices, an office in Leigh-on-Sea and also here in Rayleigh. This amalgamation will provide us with the opportunity to expand and have an even stronger geographical presence, which we know – as well as offering first class service – is an important factor when deciding which law firm to use.
To us, it was important that we joined forces with good people, and we have known many of the team at BTMK for years, so we’re satisfied that our firm will carry on with a great team behind it.
BTMK of course has many of the same specialist areas as Alan Simpson & Co, such as Conveyancing, Commercial Property, Family Law and Wills and Probate, and we will all continue to develop these areas. However, BTMK also has a very strong Corporate team, their Litigation Team is one of the largest and most talented teams in the region, and they also have Personal Injury, Medical Negligence and Employment Law teams, all of which have excellent reputations. Being able to offer this wider portfolio of services to our valued clients is a very positive step and we are certain that, like us, you’ll see the benefits of this in the coming months.
The transaction will complete at the beginning of November (effective from 31st October 2022) and the Rayleigh office at Mill Court will trade as ‘BTMK Alan Simpson’. Many of these changes will be phased in over a period of time. We will continue in business from the offices that you already know and our telephone numbers and contact details will remain the same.
